Founder and President, Rebecca Trelfa has worked as an independent Virtual Assistant for more than 10 years, managing many successful Virtual Support Teams. Rebecca has put together a unique client-matching system beneficial to VAs and clients alike. More and more professionals from both sides of the relationship are embracing this new concept in virtual team work every day.
Virtual Dynamos are independent sub-contractors who complete services for Virtual Dynamos Worldwide, Inc. In this relationship, our company is your client--not the actual client that you are matched with. Negotiable pay rates start at $15/hour. We are looking for capable Virtual Assistants who can handle everything from email management and light phone work to more sophisticated skills such as internet marketing and web development.
Most subcontractors are assigned to one or more teams that support our clientele. It is rare to have a one-on-one relationship with a client. Project Dynamos act as your liaison to the client to manage the relationship, allocate workload, track budgets and schedules, place purchase orders for the client, and in general, make sure that both you, as the subcontractor, and the client are happy with the progress and direction of the team. Step 1. Are you Dynamo material?
Virtual Assistants all over the world want to be a Dynamo. We ask that you complete our Cyber Skills Analysis to show us that you know your way around office equipment and the internet. We will file your quiz results along with your application (see Step 2). We generally look for your ability to do 75% of the available choices on the Cyber Skills Quiz. Please DO NOT email us your information. We don't accept attachments from anyone we don't know for security purposes--and it will only get lost in our already flooded in-boxes. By submitting your information to our database, you give us the ability to match you up with clients based on a wide variety of information much more quickly.
3. Being On Call for Assignments
Once we have received your information, you will officially be on call for assignments. You can also search our main job board for new listings as they become available. Once you are up for assignment we will ask you to submit your signed and dated Work for Hire Agreement and W9 information to us.
4. Attend Monthly Teleconferences (Optional)
Our monthly tele-conferences allow you to voice your opinion, ask questions, and learn about new subcontracting opportunities. There is no formal agenda for this meeting. We do it "on the fly" and it generally lasts no more than one hour, depending upon what comes up during our discussion.
